She developed a comprehensive plan of care for my then 2-month old and after weeks of following her plan, the condition went away. Would highly recommend her! She is very knowledgeable and treated my little one with so much respect & care.

Over the course of 6+ months working together, Sandy showed so much patience, meeting my daughter exactly where she was. She made each session feel engaging and supportive rather than stressful. Her approach was thoughtful allowed our daughter to take the lead while still moving her forward to meet age appropriate milestones. She took the time to explain what she was doing and why, which built a lot of trust.
Most importantly, we saw huge gains over the course of our time working with Sandy. It truly felt like she was invested in our daughter's success.
I’m so grateful we found her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any family, especially those who may be feeling hesitant after a previous negative experience.

She is incredibly creative with her exercises and turns everything into fun, engaging activities that feel more like play than therapy. It’s amazing to see how easily she connects with my daughter while still being so thoughtful and intentional with her treatment.
Cassandra is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about my daughter’s well-being and progress. We’ve seen tremendous improvement over the past few months, and we’re so grateful to have found her. We can’t recommend Cassandra and Butterfly Therapy enough!

The clinic staff were also wonderful—always responsive, organized, and helpful whenever we had scheduling questions or needed clarification.

Initial Assessment: During the initial assessment, the therapist will have a discussion with you and your child (if appropriate) regarding your concerns. Depending on the age of your child, this will be followed by a standardized assessment. Using this information, the therapist will recommend a treatment plan to best meet the child’s needs and then decide with the family how this will be implemented. Follow-up could include weekly or bi-weekly treatment sessions, home program recommendations and any need for a referral to other services.
Follow Up Treatment Sessions: All treatments at Butterfly are one on one with the therapist. We offer 25-minute treatment sessions and 45-minutes treatment sessions. Parents are welcome to sit in on sessions but we highly discourage siblings as this can be quite disruptive. We also offer group sessions and camps at certain times of the year. Call us for more information on group therapy offerings.
An initial assessment is required the first time your child sees a therapist at Butterfly. A new initial assessment is also required if your child has not received services from the same discipline for one year or more.
During the assessment, your therapist will discuss your child’s medical history, your family’s primary concerns, and your goals for therapy. They will then complete a clinical assessment based on your child’s needs, which may include evaluating skills such as strength, range of motion, fine motor skills, or expressive and receptive language.
At the end of the appointment, your therapist will review the assessment findings, discuss recommendations, and develop a personalized plan of care. They will also provide activities and strategies for you to begin at home.
Based on your child’s needs, your therapist will recommend a block of treatment sessions. Booking these appointments in advance helps secure your preferred day and time while providing your child with consistent therapy.
If a session needs to be rescheduled, please give us as much notice as possible. We ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be billed a nominal fee of $30.00.
At Butterfly, we value your time and commitment to our services. We ask that you value our therapist’s time as well. Please note that the nominal fee of $30.00 goes directly to your therapist in compensation for their lost time. We have waitlists for appointment times and by missing a scheduled appointment you are taking that time slot away from another child and a family that may need it.
A missed appointment with no advanced notice will be billed in full and is your responsibility.
