Butterfly supports children 0-18 years of age who fall within any of the following categories. Children who/with:

• Diagnosis of special needs (congenital diagnoses) including but not limited to Hypoxic Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fragile X, Spina Bifida, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Developmental Delay, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Autism
• Have had surgery or procedures such as botox, serial casting, or constraint-induced casting
• Are at risk for delays in development such as premature babies; or who are not meeting their developmental milestones
• Birth related complications like brachial plexus injuries and shoulder dystonia
• Orthopaedic issues, such as positional plagiocephaly, congenital muscular torticollis, repetitive strain type sports injuries, post fracture rehabilitation
• Concussion, post-concussion syndrome or traumatic brain injury
• Are having feeding difficulties, both motor and/or sensory feeding
• Sensory Processing difficulties, self regulation challenges
• Learning difficulties
• Challenges with fine motor skills including printing and handwriting and activities of daily living including dressing and using utensils
• Speech production difficulties including articulation, motor speech or phonology delays and dysfluency disorders (stuttering)
• Social communication difficulties including diagnosed or suspected Autism and selective mutism
• Delays in use and/or comprehension of language
• Literacy
